Mark C. O’Flaherty is a London-based interiors and portrait photographer. He has worked for Issey Miyake, Hermès, Knoll, Nobu, Diane von Furstenberg, Established & Sons, Richard James and Rupert Bevan, as well as World of Interiors, Financial Times Weekend, HTSI, House & Garden, international editions of AD, Elle Decoration, Marie Claire Maison, Ideat, Vogue Living, MiLK Decoration, Interview, Sunday Times Style and The Times.

He also writes about design regularly for many of the above publications as well as The New York Times. There is an archive of his journalism here.

He is the author of ‘Narrative Thread – Conversations on Fashion Collections’, published by Bloomsbury in 2023, and ‘Sanctum – At Home with the Uncanny’, published by Thames & Hudson in 2026 (And, yes, he took all the photographs for those too).
